We’re not into sensationalist headlines and panic buying toilet roll but we feel it’s sensible to take precautions - we dont want to make you sick!  In fact,  in all seriousness, we are a small independent business and therefore depend on you trusting us during your time at Modern Fables.

So, here is a list of what we're doing to help you (and us!) to stay healthy (I bet bog-roll riots are a wonder to behold though.)


What we're doing

Our staff don’t take public transport at rush hour and so aren’t exposed to countless coughs and sneezes on the way to or from work.

Our staff haven’t been to any infected areas for well over the 14 day incubation period, and they don’t plan on doing that any time soon.

All our bookings are private to you and your group from beginning to end so our staff are the only people you will come into contact with.

We are constantly monitoring staff and will be sending them home or to a sanitised universe if they do show symptoms.

We will be providing anti-viral hand gel or wipes.

We will be wiping down all props and puzzles between games with anti-viral wipes and also giving the rooms a quick antiviral spray. 

If you'd rather not use public transport for now, there is a Santander cycle station next to our building and if you have a car we can accommodate parking at the weekend.

If you have been to an infected area in the past two weeks, please hold off booking for a couple of weeks.

All dimensional portals to universes known to be at risk of COVID-19 have been closed. 


What if you need to cancel your booking?

We have suspended our no-cancelation policy for the time-being.  If you or one of your group becomes ill with the coronavirus, we can help you rebook your session at no extra cost.  We can also handle refunds on a case-by-case basis.  Please call us on 02033026360 if you have any questions or concerns.
